Lives and works in New York
Tim Campbell was born in Brattleboro, VT and lives and works in New York. He attended Skidmore College and American University and was a participant at the Skowhegan School for Painting and Sculpture in 2010. Past residencies include the Cite Internationale des Arts in Paris (2009), the Chautauqua School of Art (2008) and the Wassaic Project (2013). His work has been featured in solo exhibitions at School 33 (Baltimore), Bedford Gallery at Longwood University (Virginia), and the Washington Theological Union (DC), and in group exhibitions at numerous venues including Vox Populi (Philadelphia), Sargent’s Daughters/Shrine, Outlet (Brooklyn), Trestle (Brooklyn), ArtSpace (New Haven), Maxon Mills (Wassaic, NY), Passenger (Detroit), the Museum of New Art (Detroit), Tompkins Projects (Brooklyn), Zora Space (Brooklyn), Porch Projects (DC), Ground Floor Gallery (Nashville), and the Katzen Museum (DC).
